Hello Beautiful!
Lately I’ve been questioning some things I believe. We live in a society where questioning is forbidden. In your heart you know things just doesn’t feel right but you ignore it because you are thinking opposite of what you’ve been taught.
I realize we live in a dumb down, do as I say and what you’ve been told and taught society. Don’t question the statues quo, and you dare not ask because you will be labeled as rebellious.
We live in fear, fear that something horrible is going to happen to us if we confront and question things that are not agreeing with our spirit man.

There is a culture that support this theory. They will tell you, don’t get into that, you are not supposed to ask questions, just pray about it and let God take care of it and like conformist we do as we are told and we tell the next person not to question things that don’t feel right in their spirit.
That is how evil men and women gets away with things that should have been confronted, everyone was scared to ask questions or confront things that was going on in front of them.
They knew it was wrong, because they had truthful information to help them determine that but they couldn’t bare being not liked, a target or an outcast so they went along with the agenda out of fear and lack of bravery to confront the situation.

What I loved about Jesus is that he never conformed. He always spoke truth and called others out on their undercover behavior. He did not apologize for his radical behavior.
We were all born with the curiosity to learn and question things that are around us, but when it goes against the grain, we shut it down and want to turn a deaf ear towards it. We do it to our kids, and we do it to each other, especially in any environment where organized systems are created.
You have humans beings that are going along with things they actually feel differently about, but are afraid of asking why or confronting issues that would make them feel like an outsider.
Just because everyone is going along with it doesn’t make it right. What I know is that we will be judged for what is truly in our hearts. You can go long with it outwardly to make it seem like you are on board but in your heart, you know you don’t agree with it. You are lying to yourself, the other person you are trying to please, and God.
Proverbs 21:2 ESV Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Jeremiah 17:10 ESV “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

1 Samuel 16:7 ESV But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
Jeremiah 17:9 ESV The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
We have numbed the voice that speaks to us loudly. We have discredited our own intuition. We are afraid. We are afraid of questioning authority and people whose motives are not pure because we have been taught that authority is the law. This is a lonely walk. Who wants to feel like an outcast? Who wakes up one morning and say I want to walk alone?

If you go along with the program you are deemed the faithful one. You win awards and accolades for being a comfomist and you get excommunicated and blackballed for speaking up and speaking out.
Bullying comes in many forms. Bullying is not just the kid who get pick on at school. Bullying is making an example out of someone so the masses can see it and draw back.
Bullying is ignoring a person, making them feel less than because they refuse to comform to your agenda, and telling your side of the story to put you in a favorable position with others but refusing to tell what part you’ve played in the story and making the other person look bad in front of others.
Bullying is watching and tracking people and following their every move in person and on social media, using speech and words and making a person feel less than because they won’t conform to your agenda.

Shhhhh don’t speak out. Don’t say a word just go along with the program. Just be like everybody else and fit it. Regardless, if that voice inside your heart is screaming something different, just ignore the prompting.
I am guilty of this too, I do it with my children. I have become like my culture and like my society. Putting heavy burdens on my children and myself. Be quite just conform and you will have peace.
Turn your head as if you don’t see anything. Ignore your intuition and just obey. Walk away and don’t call others out on their under cover behavior.

I’m learning a lot. I’m learning how this society and the world can tell lies in our history books and about our history, and it is perpetuated from generation to generation.
I’m learning how others can do wrong and justify it by saying don’t judge, or we tell the story and package the story in a fairytale bravery type of way. I bet the victims do not see the story in the same light, and have a totally different perspective.
We as Christians have given passes to the elite and have excommunicated, ignored and stop fellowshipping with the real victims who are crying out to us to just listen to the truth they have to tell.

James 4:17 ESV So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin
We have not fought for the accusers but have turned a deaf ear to them and we have turned our heads from the accused.
Habakkuk 1:13 ESV You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?
I realize until we walk in truth and honesty we won’t have peace anyway. I am called to be an authentic writer. I am called to shed light in dark places.
I am called to walk in bravery and be courageous and speak truth. I battled with feeling different. I want to fit in. I try to shut out the voice that is prompting me to go in a different direction. I have struggled with this my whole life, feeling very uncomfortable when I do conform.
I have cried asking God why don’t I see things like everyone else. Why do I feel so out of place. I have asked why am I so sensitive in my spirit. I have even prayed to take every rebellious spirit out of me. But then again, have my society labeled me rebellious because I don’t fit it with their agenda?
I am sure Jesus of Nazareth, Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Moses that the Bible talks about and many great heroes and heroines were labeled rebellious as well.
We want everyone to look the same, talk the same, behave in the same manner, think the same way. When God is the one who created us all different. He created us with different skills, abilities, personalities, and passions. I can’t be an elephant if I am called to be a lion. I will never blend in or fit in with those elephants. Never!
That goes for you as well, you don’t fit in because you can’t fit in, even if you tried, the just of who you are will always rise to the surface. No matter how much you try and make yourself fit in, you will always feel uncomfortable and out of place. There will be something calling you higher.
This reminds me of the stories told of Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs and other great minds who charted history and created life changing inventions. Please click this link to read this great article which explains why they could not comform to the environments that labeled them slow learners, uneducated, dop-outs rebellious and different.
Both Albert Einstein and Steve Jobs tried to stay in organized education, but it was to slow for them because God designed them differently. They both were ahead of their time. They were forward thinkers. They spent surmountable time alone which gave them ample time to think through any concept, theory, and solutions. They pulled away from the crowd to here divine revelations and insights that changed the course of history.
Forward thinking people hear a different sound. They aren’t rebellious, they are gifted, but we try to make them like everyone else and when they don’t fit in, we label them. Instead of us going along with their bent and learning styles we make them an outcast to society. They will never comform because their lot in life is different.
Forward thinking people can not allow anyone to stifle their gifts and creative genius. They don’t think, act or look like their society. Forward thinking people will always feel unfulfilled if they don’t tap into their sound, their intuition and their genius.
Heaven is always calling them to come out from amoungst the chatter so they can listen to God’s voice inside of them. Every prophet heard that sound. They were taken out of their environment so they can hear God’s voice and instructions for their life.
Their greatest influencers who is not moving them in direction of their purpose is removed from them because that environment will stifle their gifts by speaking negatively towards their purpose and dreams. The opinions of men can be a snare to them, so God removes them from their environment so they can reach their full potential.
Can you imagine the pressures that they felt because they did not fit in with their environment? I’m sure they questioned their intelligence. I am sure they asked themselves, “what is wrong with me, why don’t I fit in?” I am sure they faced rejection over and over again, and I am sure, at times they felt depressed.

She had to be separated so that she could hear God’s voice. God gave her visions and night dreams. She heard the sound! Come from amongst them and be ye separated! She heard God telling her to leave everything she know and been taught, to come up higher so that He could show her what great things he had in store for her.
Harriet experienced so much pain, so much rejection, so much abuse from her slave owners and even her husband. Nothing could hold Harriet back not even her husband. She heard the sound and she had to obey the intelligence that was calling her higher. I believed the sound she heard was the voice of the Holy Spirit, which led and guided her the whole way.
The Holy Spirit gave her instruction in the night, and connected her to women and men who would help her escape and help others to escape as well. These great men and women also heard the same sound that Harriet Tubman was hearing. God so beautifully connected her to her Angels who escorted her every step of the way.

Harriet Tubman wasn’t a slave, she was free and had always been free the entire time. That slave label could not hold her back because in her mind she was free! That is why she was so successful in freeing herself and others. She was created from a different cloth. She was designed by the greatest designer of all time, God! Structure, organized systems, slavery and labels couldn’t stop her. Her generation called her Moses because she had the spirit of a deliverer.
Now don’t get me wrong, I am all for order, I know we need laws and rules to keep things from being chaotic and to keep us safe. I am not talking about coming in and just breaking rules and living any kind of way. For Christians, our laws and rules is our Bible.
I remember when I was a young child, I fought a lot. I fought girls and boys. I wasn’t afraid to stand up for myself, my siblings and my friends.
When I became born again believer my fight changed. I wanted peace more than anything. So I conformed for the sake of peace. I allowed others to say things to me and treat me unkind and bully me. I didn’t fight back because God said he would fight for me.
I’ve cried so many tears. I’ve been broken so many times inside of my heart because I was told not to fight back. Shhhhh, don’t talk about it ignore it. But I recently found out that is not true.
Proverbs 24:11-12 ESV Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?
I know we are called to walk in love with everyone even when evil is present but we are not called to turn our head away from wrongdoings.
Jesus was a non-comformist, being about his father’s business. He called evildoers, religious people and people with impure motives out on the carpet. When he did, they excommunicated him, called him a devil and wanted to kill him.
Jesus was radical! Turning over the money changers in the temple, He condemns the Pharisees, and warns others don’t be like them, calling them snakes and vipers. He told them they were like their father the devil.
I will end this blog with a link to 34 scriptures about conformity. I will also insert a qoute for you to think about when you are challenged with listening to your sound and obeying that still small voice inside of you.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
We cannot expect that all nations will adopt like systems, for conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth.
