Today I want to share with you what I chose for my homeschoolers curriculum for the 2020-2021 school year.

I shocked myself with my curriculum picks for this school year. I was not planning on schooling with workbooks this school year. This school year I went pro Evan Moor.

What I love about Evan Moor is that they have workbooks for every subject. The workbooks are full of literature and very informative.

I can use my “What Your Child Needs To Know” Common Core Knowledge books as a supplement for their grade level with the workbooks.

I purchased the Evan Moor Skill Sharpner bundles for my 4th, 3rd, and 1st grader.



I will have a high schooler this year. Where did the time go? She will be in the 9th grade. Our plan for her is to finish her high school years attending a Christian high school. That might change because of all the new changes in our world. We will just have to wait and see.

We did apply at a Christian High School but then the pandemic stop everything.

Hopefully we get a call or a letter stating she is accepted.

I would love to homeschool her through her high school years, but her desire is to attend a Christian high school.

This year Evan Moor workbooks will be our spine and I would pull in other resources to make the workbooks fun, engaging and interesting. I will write a blog post explaining how I teach from workbooks and make them fun, interesting and engaging.



Please don’t be overwhelmed by all of the workbooks I picked for my homeschoolers, It might seem like a lot, but I will break the workbooks down for different days of which I will show in another blog post.

Humble Math – 100 Days of Timed Tests: Addition and Subtraction:… by Humble Math Ages 5–8. I will use these math sheets once a week with my 1st, 3rd and 4th grader to test math facts and how quick they can recall them.

Humble Math – 100 Days of Timed Tests: Multiplication Problems by Humble Math Grade 3-5 I will use these math sheets once a week with my 3rd, and 4th grader once a week for mental math pratice.

Humble Math – Double Digit Addition & Subtraction: 100 Days of practice problems Grades 1-3 I will use these math sheets with my 1st 3rd, and 4th grader. Once a week for mental math Pratice.




CRITICAL THINKING:

Skill Sharpeners Critical Thinking, Grade 1 I will use these logic and Critical thinking workbooks as games. It will be our morning warm up.

What Your Child Needs To Know” Common Core Knowledge books. All of my homeschoolers will be learning about art from these books for their grade level.
