I know sometimes we’ve blown it as moms and mom guilt can be real but today we are going to ignore that voice that’s telling us that you are not doing enough, you are messing up your kids life, you are failing them, you are stopping their dreams, you are a horrible mother, you are making your kids, your life. You are too over protective, you need to spend more time playing with them and less time cleaning or working, you need to be more organized, you are ruining their education and future, the list can go on and on. Read MoreToday I want to give you an update on my journey to becoming a minimalist. Wow! you never know just how much stuff you have in your environment until you pull out everything in your closed spaces like your drawer, bags, cabinets, garage, closets and storage areas.
This week I took six bags of stuff to the Goodwill and 2 bags to throw away, in the trash. All of that was hidden in my closed spaces inside of my home. Read MoreUnit Studies is an awesome way to cut 8 subjects down a day and focus only on about 3-4 subjects a day. You are still teaching all the subjects but not all in one day. Math is the only subject I do not incorporate in my unit studies. I have a math curriculum for each one of my children.
