5 Steps I Use To Plan My Homeschool Unit Studies.

Unit Studies is an awesome way to cut 8 subjects down a day and focus only on about 3-4 subjects a day. You are still teaching all the subjects but not all in one day. Math is the only subject I do not incorporate in my unit studies. I have a math curriculum for each one of my children. My little ones who are not reading yet or not reading fluently do have a reading and writing curriculum. In this blog I use real photos take a look......Click the link

Homeschool Curriculum Made Easy!

Today I want to share with my homeschooling community how I keep my homeschool curriculum simple, fun, engaging, challenging and easy. I used to think you had to have a curriculum for all 8 subjects. One for math, spelling, writing, history, science, art, reading and english(language arts, grammar). That is probably fine, if you are homeschooling 1 or even 2 children, but when you are homeschooling more 2 than children, you probably want to keep it simple for your children and for yourself. click the link to read more.....

THE POWER OF LETTING GO! A key element in manifesting anything in your life.

How I Organized My Homeschool Curriculum

Yes I was a homeschooling novice, when I homeschooled my daughter in the kindergarten, I dedicated the basement room to my daughter classroom and decorated the walls like her traditional classroom setting. I have learned since then that for me having to much of anything if it is not being used it is just plain hoader-ism. So I have adopted a new homeschool philosophy. I not only adopted it in my classroom but I adopted this principle in every area of my life. Keep it Simple! Click the link to read more....

She Still Got It! It Has Always Been There!

She is still in there, that same woman who use to laugh until she cried, shopped until she dropped and use to have a lot of fun just during the things that brought her joy. Like, dancing and singing and visiting the local boutiques. Designing and decorating, and going to the coffee house and just having a cup of coffee or tea. Spending all day at the bookstores, just checking out the latest must read and magazines and journals. Hanging out with her friends and catching up on the latest, whats going on in everyone's life. Finding new recipes and trying them out and having potlucks so everyone can try each other dishes and just enjoying your life! She is still there. Click the link! To hear about how youth got it!

Who Is Influencing Your Children?

This post is to my mothers who are teaching and educating their children at home. Moms, even if your child goes to a private or public school you can still benefit from this article. Moms who have to work outside the home and still have to come home and take care of her responsibilities at home, grace and grace and more grace to you. I walked in your same shoes, so I know how overwhelming it could at times. With that kind of work load and schedule we are to tired to teach anybody anything. When we get home we just want to relax and fill ourselves up so we can constantly give to everybody else. Read more....
